Peter Whitehouse MD-PhD is a geriatric neurologist and cognitive neuroscientist and co-founder with his wife Cathy of The Intergenerational School, the highest performing community school in Ohio. While at Johns Hopkins he and his colleagues discovered fundamental brain changes occurring in so-called Alzheimer's and helped developed the first drugs approved for use in these conditions. Now Peter believes that narrative-based, life-long learning, sustainable community focused brain health initiatives are the best individual and public health approaches for addressing the cognitive challenges we all face as we age.
